Top irradiation model (LZC-1)
 This model is ideal
for solid samples, such as paper, cloth, some biological samples
(e.g. Petri dishes) and drug photostability work. The irradiation
chamber is approximately 12 inches wide, 12 inches deep and 8.5
inches high. Four switches allow control of the lamps used such
that any number between 1 and 8 can be on at a given time. Fan and
exhaust lines are provided; the exhaust is only needed when using
UVC (254 nm) lamps. One set of safety goggles (cut-off around 420
nm) is supplied. Bulkhead connectors for gases are standard. Several
accessories and customized lamp arrangements are available.
Options LZC-B (carousel) and LZC-D (magnetic stirrer) can be installed upon request, but are not part of standard units.
Note: Any 12" Rayonet Lamps can be used in Luzchem photoreactors.
