A package for the organic photochemist (LZC-ORG)
Designed for organic photochemists who only require side irradiation. This package is based on our LZC-5 model, but we have also added two extra lamps, a recessed magnetic stirrer, and a digital timer. We also included a carousel for up to 16 tubes; the portable unit has been chosen for this package, because (in contrast with the built-in drive) it does not require an orifice in the chamber floor. In the case of an accidental spill this will minimize damage to the electronic components. The package includes a set of each UVA and UVC lamps, and 8 quartz sample tubes and 8 pyrex tubes. Bulkhead connector for gases, a pair of safety goggles and a safe exhaust system are also included. Other options can be added to this package.
Note: Any 12" Rayonet lamps can be used with most of Luzchem's photoreactors.
